I'm all for going for the 1,000 marker but would everyone like to consider starting a TITTTWND II when we get there? I feel guilty that I'm not doing something productive while I'm waiting for this thread to open!! Just a thought, please don't throw rocks!! No one has addressed my earlier inquiry so thought I'd redux...
I think she was trying to imply that Paul and Q have a thing going on...Q is not really Mrs. Jones is she? Perhaps I should be posting this on Paul the Musical.
I'm sure he's committing most of his time to developing his musical, hoping someone will recommend some music he actually likes; could also be working on his dance steps; what's a musical without dancing???? But it is an interesting coincidence with his sudden shyness and Q's authorized absence. Maybe he was REALLY serious about missing her..
Frank, you and Jitterbug better batten down the hatches.... we are in the middle of a heavy duty thunderstorm. If not for our generator, we would be without power and it is as black as mid-night out, maybe even darker. Looks like it is headed your way. On a side note, it sure did cool things down.
I've been in a northwest facing full windowed conference room since 3PM watching all of this roll in. Right at 4:30 it was a little scary and we stopped the meeting to get away from the window. All seems calm now so it moved through pretty fast but thanks for the warning Dutch!
I was dealing with employees all day. I am learning that the concept of a "two week notice" isn't as strong as it used to be.
We need to hit 1000 posts and stop these stupid "Threads that wont die". They are totally idiotic and the people responsible for them must be lightweight HR types that have nothing better to do.
LAST EDITED ON 07-19-07 AT 06:33PM (CST)[br][br]Relax jtrbug, there are 3 "never die" threads and the author of 2 of them is none other than..... *drum roll* ...... Paul. *rim shot*
I'm relaxed and I got your drift, I started to make a statement to Paul like and who do you think your talking about but I thought what I did post was more humorous...my attempt at an oxymoron (no pun intended!)
LAST EDITED ON 07-19-07 AT 08:14PM (CST)[br][br]Hey, did any of you guys read the feature article on the weekly e-zine? How come they are allowed to say asshole in the feature article and we all use $8%#? Not that I would call any of you that.
Joannie, why don't you pose that question in the Using the Forum section at the bottom of the list. The admins will usually answer questions posed there, that is if they are still awake since there hasn't been much controversy around here in a long time.
OK guys, you are all off the hook. You do not have to answer my previous question. But somebody better respond to this post, cause I don't want to be to blame for the death of the thread!!!!!!!!!!!
I heard a rumor that the post counter won't go any higher than 999 and if we try to post #1000 it will lock up the forum causing MLS significant cost to repair and whoever does that will most likely be placed in time out and not allowed to post again for an appropriate amount of time. Additionally, they may have to increase the membership fees to cover the cost.
I think we already broke it. On "Paul, TM", check out the posts for the last couple of days. The individual counters don't appear to be changing. I first noticed it because Dutch had 2 @ 899. I wanted to be the first to congratulate him on 900.
Joannie, you're talking about our individual post counters. He was talking about the thread post counters.
What you're seeing on Dutch's individual post counters, for example is that the post numbers update globally. In other words, when Dutch posts his 900th post, EVERY post he's ever posted will reflect 900, even his very first post. Which, by the way, most of us have framed on our walls.

I agree, this thread should be retired.
>have a thing going on...Q is not really Mrs.
>Jones is she?
OK boys and girls, both of you are wrong. I am merely implying that Q's wittiness seems to inspire Paul's writing abilities.
But it is an interesting coincidence with his sudden shyness and Q's authorized absence. Maybe he was REALLY serious about missing her..
Put my top up just in time, methinks!

>cord? It can be cut and we will still live?
No actually it *is* like our umbilical cord in that way (note that we all still live even though our umbilical cords have been cut). ;-)
Who is Don from Mississippi, and where am I going?
