Joannie, your an HR professional... we don't do such things...only the EE's do that. I think we have some that count having to be trained on turning on the computer every morning as that one new thing.
Hey guys, I really do think it's broken. Dutch posted a response on general and it shows 900, Congratulations Dutch, but PTM and this thread all still show 899. Sorry, but number inconsistencies drive me nuts.
I'll be at a golf tournament on Monday so I will probably miss the magic moment we hit 900. I still say that we should try to get this thing to 1000 before Q gets back.
That will learn her to ever leave us again.
Hitting that mark will take a team effort. Everybody will need to do their part. I may even bring my laptop and log in inbetween holes and keep things going.
Try to keep Ray from talking about music. That tends to put everyone asleep.
We all have to pull together and get this done! Its the 4th quarter and time to shift it into high gear.
So I just finished adding new hardware to our kitchen cupboards. I thought I would suprise my wife as she was gone for the evening. Boy, was she suprised!
I was suprised as well to find that I had measured wrong and every single handle is 3/4 " to the right.
Well, it least they lean right instead of left. My wife isnt finding the humor in this yet.
LAST EDITED ON 07-22-07 AT 06:24AM (CST)[br][br]That's easy to fix. Just cut 3/4" off the left side of each door and the hardware will be as centered as Hillary claims to be.
After Paul's pep-talk here's a post for the team. Speaking of golf... my boys and I played (well sort of played) 18 holes one day last week. After 'bout the first 2 or 3 we would drive down the path next to the fairway, find a spot that looked good and just throw the ball onto the fairway. We would then play it from there. Each of us taking turns to hit the same ball. It was some kind of hot but we had a blast.
"Very Interesting....." When I open you post it only has about three words per line. and yes, the folks in the club house couldn't believe the three of us played the first 9 so quickly.
You don't, but then you're a woman and these things need to be explained to you. Paul is capable of handling equipment more complicated than a paper clip therefore he should be able to handle a table saw. Or at least a crosscut hand saw. The paint gun is to shoot.... oh, never mind.
My house was originally a barn built back in the 1870s or 80s. Not much is truly square. Yes, I have cut crown moldings with slightly strange angles that don't lay flat.
Our house was built in the late 50's and of course nothing is standard size. It's been fun making improvements including odd angled crown molding, base boards and windows. We put new decking on the roof and found an unopened pack of Camel cigs! It was in good shape so that told us we didn't have a moisture problem all these years.
How 'bout that... my house was not originally a barn but it too was built in the 1870's. Crown moldings have always given me trouble. You gotta make sure you don't have them up-side-down and especially those that have a gap being them.... when you lay them on the table to cut you are looking down at them, when you hold then against the ceiling you are looking up at them, and the list goes on and on... once you get the first one or two cut correctly it goes ptetty smooth, but it can 'bout drive me batty getting the first one correct.
Hey team, I stopped into the office just to smirk at my non-golfing coworkers. This tournament is sponsored by our workers comp company. I wonder how many times I can drop our 368 straight days without a recordable claim into conversation.
Here is a post to contribute to our goal of 1000 (and then leaving this thread behind).
Hubby used the chain saw again this weekend, but this time I stayed with him wherever he was using it. Still, we had a couple of close calls with his legs but no actual injuries. Well, I mean no chain saw injuries. He got bloodied a couple of times working on the above ground pool and a few other things, but no chain saw massacre this weekend and nothing bad enough to land us in the emergency room. Woo-hoo!

She remains unconvinced. I'll bring up your idea next.

Now, if I get hurt today, is that WC?
