So now that you're validated, do you get free parking in the indoor garage? But on a serious note, I believe it is genetic for a man to acquire a few scars from doing "manly" things: hunting, fishing, roofing, chainsawing, etc. I've got my share, but can't explain why...
And I don't have a problem with all that, I just wish you guys wouldn't hurt yourselves in the process, because it is us "women folk" who have to "kiss the boo-boo".
And if you are correct in your statement, there in lies the difference, my friend. Men look to others for validation, but women find validation within themselves.
Validation maybe, but I like the idea of "kissing the booboo"; that really has good logic to it, remembering back to my prekindergarten days..... It was a good way to get attention and sympathy; the kiss was a bonus!! More recent memory isn't quite as glowy. Wife doesn't seem to mind pointing out the idiocy(sp?).
If superiority includes kissing the booboo, it can't be all bad. But you're right about the idiot admission; but only in attempting to get affection and attention. Maybe it's more bad logic instead of idiocy (still don't know if I'm spelling that right). And hey, Joannie's been validated now too!!

Your spelling is correct. Shhh.... we have to let Joannie believe she is self-validated, but we know the truth. We know why she keeps coming back to the forum. She needs us.
Must be some truth to this. My young bride refuses to be around when me and and the boys are using our "power tools". Currently the boys and I (mostly the boys) are removing the roof from our back deck. It can be very exciting on top of the ten foot ladder when you suddenly disocver you have disturbed a nest of bees and/or wasps. Now my job is to stand below with the can of wasp/hornet spray. I keep telling the boys they will mend faster than their ole dad.
I have to admit I have no clue what Missk means by short bus. We don't have that many buses in this neck of the woods, most people use personal transporation.

Good grief, I take one day off to learn something and you guys use my name in vain. Not to mention the fact that Q is going to be very disappointed that no one posted to "Paul the Musical" today.
Thanks, Ray. I missed you guys, too. Expecially when I was listening to the legal beagle tell us why wellness programs have to comply with HIPPA and ADA. Why can't the government stay out of our lives?
But if Govt. stayed out of our lives companies wouldn't need HR!! Then we all may have to do real jobs! Some people in our profession would have to learn what "function" is instead of only dealing with "form". And what would happen to all those ambulance chasing parasites? It is not a pleasant thought that they would be part of the workforce! I'm all for going for the 1,000 marker but would everyone like to consider starting a TITTTWND II when we get there? I feel guilty that I'm not doing something productive while I'm waiting for this thread to open!! Just a thought, please don't throw rocks!!

It's probably just as well. I almost didn't post that comment in case someone found it offensive, though I meant no offense (and besides, when has that stopped me before?).
But I forgot that back when you went to school you had to walk, and in the snow, and uphill both ways. When I was young (well, even younger than I am now, I mean), we had these things called school buses, and they were these long, yellow vehicles that could transport like 60 students. But some kids went to school on a much shorter school bus that sat maybe 10-15 kids.

That pretty much validates it!
We all need us.

Special in the "short bus" sense?
>average, but here in the USA I'm well above
>average.
I am suddenly uncomfortable with the direction this conversation has taken...
:-S

Do you think the good folks at MLS are aware of the achievement we are... achieving here?

Is that a spelling error? Didn't you mean "Forum"?
Onward 1000!
