Since every walker I've ever seen has tennis balls impaled on the legs, you'd think the walker manufacturers would just devise a tennis-ball-like part that COMES WITH THE WALKER.
Or maybe walkers are manufactured by Wilson or whoever makes tennis balls, and they leave them off intentially to promote tennis ball sales.
OK, Now I am going crazy...is this from "Dark Side of the Moon" ? It has bothered me since I read this. Must admit, I do have the ALBUM in the closet at home. Talk about revealing your age! It is a nice rainy day in Phoenix. It would be a great day to go home and listen to all of those old records.
Hey jdn, I'm in Tempe. Don't admit we have rain - I frequently answer other Forumites' weather-related posts with "It's sunny and warm in Phoenix." (Well, it usually IS.)
Now they won't be jealous of our weather any more. Granted, I have had to wear my pink fuzzy gloves twice this winter, so it's been pretty rough...
HRQ, my daughter and her family lived in Surprise, AZ for a couple of years and when we visited them back in 2002 it rained 3 days in a row. Most rain they had had all year. They are considering moving back to Tempe.

I work in Tempe, about a mile west of ASU, but I live in Avondale, which is south of Surprise.
All part of the Phoenix metropolitan area.
It is so cold out today that I can see my breath. I know you feel sorry for me.

Make sure you use a euphemistically named peashooter... a small bore tenor. You'll get better range. And some people think music lessons a waste of time.
Come to think of it, I bet I could inflict far more suffering, and to a wider range of victims, if I just attempted to PLAY the thing, instead of using it as a snowball launcher.
How 'bout we each record our, um, "contributions" and email them to Paul. He can layer the recordings into one song and post a link for all to enjoy. He admits he's a techno geek, and I'm sure he'll be happy to help.

How would I know that? I am probably a day or two older than you are.
Also notice how I only included that part of that great big word that I liked.
Say Ray, do you know a good source to replace those tennis balls attached to the bottom of my walker?
Dutch - I am going to shamelessly steal that line and use it like I thought it up.

I'll fax you a snowball.
I put it in the freezer to wait until just the right moment for a one-sided office snowball fight. I have a particular "target" in mind.
Man, this week needs to END.
MMMWWWAAAAHHHHH-HHHAAAA-HHHHAAAA!
.......or not.
