--& I'm not telling my age either, however, in '75 my brother and I could fill the tank in a '66 Ford 500, buy a case of Coors and have change from a $10 bill. Now it costs me $20 for a case of Icehouse and almost $40 to fill my Dakota V8 gas machine. BTW, $2.59 today in Western KS,(this morning anyway.)
Safety, why on earth would you voluntarily pay $20 for a case of inferior Icehouse when any decent supermarket (at least out here in Orygun) will sell you a case of Coors for $13 and change? x:-)
Now, if I could just get them to lower the price of cigarettes I'd be happy...
I just read on AOL that gas in Iraq is one nickle per gallon. That's five cents. If we are enjoying the so called 'spoils of war', how come that doesn't roll down to us?
