LAST EDITED ON 03-13-03 AT 11:35AM (CST)[p]Okay, I think I have the answers to the trivia questions that have been tossed out. Here goes: Ray A- all the musicians you listed play the trombone.
Don D and Jimmy Buffet are both from MS. Possibly went to the same college. And they both like margaritas and can't find their lost shakers of salt. Just kidding.
And the first woman in the R&R Hall of Fame was Aretha Franklin.
I just had to take the time to see who the musicians were that Ray A listed. How did I do?

Hey, that was good. I'm even more impressed that someone cared. Take it one step further; all the musicians I listed play the bass trombone (you have to be a trombonist to realize there is a difference) and they play in major symphony orchestras around the world. Doug Yeo is the bass trombonist for the Boston Symphony orchestra and the Boston Pops and I count him a personal friend.
Oh My God....I thought there were only two people in this world who knew who Dr. Hook was (a girl I work with and myself). The best song he ever did was The Cover of the Rolling Stone.
Surely someone is a jazz fan? I have a diverse taste in music but my favorites include:
John Coltrane Dave Brubeck Weather Report Steely Dan Chicago Beach Boys (Brian Wilson is a genius on the Pet Sounds Album) Wings The Police Joe Jackson.
You're not alone HR girl, they also did amoung others, "Freakin at the Freakers Ball", I Can't touch the Sun", "Get Your Rocks Off", etc. Oh what sweet memories of a great time in music.
The Moody Blues - still together after 35 years! Although Ray Thomas isn't touring with the group this spring due to health problems, they'll be releasing another studio album this year. Drummer Graeme Edge has dubbed their sound "wrinkly rock" (they range in age from 57 to 62), but John Lodge still looks fabulous in black leather pants! From Days of Future Passed to Strange Times, they've endured and evolved as no other group I can think of!
