Thanks for the feedback. I do have doctor bills dated for the date of the visit during this plan year. They reflect a prior balance and payments as they are made. Do you think that would suffice?

I have checked the plan docs and it is not specific to re-hired employees. The policy states eligibility coincides with health insurance eligibility. Thanks for the info!

It is my understanding that if they are performing work other than their normal job, they can volunteer. If your accountant is counting money at a fundraiser s/he would have to be paid. If s/he is painting, it would be considered volunteer work.
