Gutter thoughts

My husband used to work for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. He worked with vaccinations, but the department next to him worked with sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). They were very open minded and he has a lot of stories (like birthday parties where the balloons were not actually balloons...if you get my drift.) :angel:

Anyway, there is a thread on this site that is talking about short term disability plans (STDs). I'm afraid my mind goes right to the gutter every time I see it. I don't have that problem when working with our plans here, but somehow on this website it looks different.

Is anyone else having this problem or am I just perverted?

It was funny, a while back one of my co-workers was looking at a list of general ledger accounts that I use for insurance stuff and she was shocked to see one that was titled "Employee STD". I told her that the full title was "Employee STD & Life Insurance" and she felt better. I think at first she thought maybe we had a special account for helping out employees with their - ummmm - personal problems!

When we got my mother-in-law a computer for her 80th birthday all she wanted to do was play games. She actually thought that the people sitting at her computer card game table were real and that there was a camera in the back of her monitor letting them know what her hand was.
