We are in the process of having EasyChoice Time & Attendance installed. We found them through our payroll provider Professional Payroll Solutions. We have been looking for 5 years and finally found a good solution for our company.
We use Kronos and like it alot. It's user friendly, keeps track of any type of leave you want, you can run (and create) reports, plus, it interfaces with our time clocks perfectly (they are Simplex timeclocks).
We use Quick books, Enterprise version for payroll so we were somewhat limited r/t time and attendance programs.
The one we ended up with is GHG out of Texas. The cost is 1.00/paycheck/direct deposit transaction and that is all we pay. You can buy their software but we chose not to as a not for profit mindful of cashflow. Their support is fairly good and the program is fairly user friendly and allows you to use the time and attendance as a web posting for forms, newsletters, etc.
When I came here they were using Optima from McNeil. Not the best and the support is poor IMO. We are going to the attandance system in our new ERP system.
TimeXchange.net (http://www.timexchange.net) is a simple and inexpensive service that works well for time tracking and approval. Unlike an application or a spreadsheet solution, TimeXchange is a network service which can support employees, contractors, client approval, as well as operational reporting. It's all about enabling the collaboration of anyone with anyone else. No other reporting and approval service is easier to use or a better value.
