Pay Case Decision

I'm totally confused by this new ruling out of the Supreme Court about pay claims...are they saying that the actual paychecks don't matter, it's the decision on pay that counts? Help!

They're saying that the discrimination happens when the first unequal check is issued. Then there is 180 days to bring a discrimination charge. 180 days is even a short time when the discriminatory act is as clear cut as a firing.
