When employees are stationed all over, what has anyone found to be the best method to track intermittent FMLA? For example, supervisor writes the hours down and forwards to HR, employee emails/calls hr each time, employee records on time reports….

We track in two different ways. Our managers submit a daily report detailing who is absent and why. They also have individual attendance calendars and list absences and reasons on a daily basis. Periodically I audit the attendance calendars to ensure they match the daily report. Hope this helps.
