How much PTO do you get?

Hi Forum!

We are looking to "restructure" our PTO allowance. We are a micro-sized company and the following is our PTO scale:

0-1 Year 1 week PTO (after 90 days of hire)
1-2 Years 2 weeks
3-5 Years 3 weeks
6-9 Years 4 weeks
10+ Years 5 Weeks

[B]All full-time and part-time employees will follow the schedule below regarding their PTO:[/B]

Shew! As we have approximately 50 employees who are eligible, this would appear to be "way" too much time.

We would like to take this down as minimal as possible, I'd like to see what other companies offer and suggestions on how we could handle this would be awesome! Thank you!

Sorry, we do not have a PTO program. We have a program for vacation and one for sick leave. Our vacation policy is two weeks after one year, three weeks after 7 years and four weeks after 15 years. Sick leave is earned at one day a month - 12 days a year with a maximum of 30 days.

0-1 yrs 144 hrs (18 days)
2-3 yrs 192 hrs (24 days)
4-14 yrs 232 hrs (29 days)
+15 yrs 272 hrs (34 days)

This is for sick, vacation and personal days only. Holiday pay is separate.

5 - 14 years: 3 weeks

We also utilize PTO, but we have close to 200 employees so our scale may be off. I previously worked for a company with around 150 employees, and everyone, regardless of years of service, received 8 days PTO per year. Period. It was rough!

Here's what I currently use.
<1 Year: 15 days
1- <2 years: 16 days
2- years: 17 days
3- <4 years: 18 days
4- <5 years: 19 days
5- <9 years: 20 days
10+ years: 21 days
