For those of you in a non-union shop, when you abolish a job do you let your employees 'bump' into another employee's job with less time with the company?
Directly from our handbook: "If conditions ever demand that a reduction be made in the staff, the order in which employees are released will be determined by past performance, special skills, qualifications for work and flexibility. Seniority will be considered, but will not be the determinative factor."
