Tomorrow I have a hearing in front of the EEOC for a retaliation claim....please send me your good juju - this has taken up FAR too much of my time over the last few months! (sorry I've been MIA!)
VICTORY!!!!!!!!!! Well, kind of. The judge basically dismissed one of the claims then "highly suggested" we settle the other, as our side would more than likely win, but the costs of going through the whole process (and appeal) would be through the roof.
Was able to settle for an almost nominal sum, CEO and CFO are very happy!
I know some people see a settlement as a loss, but when I consider the cost savings realized by not going through the whole shebang, I definitely see it as a "win."
