State of Texas Question - If an employee resigns to accept a position with another company and subsequently is terminated from the second company, can the former employee draw unemployment on the orginal employer?
Comments
I haven't worked with Texas unemployment in several years, so this info may be outdated. The ex employee draws benefits based on the wages earned while at the former employer, but the benefits are not charged to the former employer's account; they are charged to the most recent employer.
