The Future Work Force

I read an article recently which talked about the diminishing work force due to baby boomers retiring, being an American phenomenon. The baby boom in the US was from the late 1940's to the early 1960's. This has caused American businesses to be concerned about filling vacancies caused by the retiring boomers. (The current recession may be masking the problem for the moment, but it is a real problem.)
However, in formerly undeveloped countries such as India, Mexico and China, the baby boom was about thirty years later from the late 1970's to the early 1990's. So while the American work force is diminishing, these other countries have an abundance of workers early in their careers. Logic tells us that these are the workers who will fill the vacancies in America.
What do others think? Have you been seeing an influx of foreign workers applying for your openings?

Darn it, Frank. There you go picking on me again. I was born in Hawaii.::angryface::
Many people don't realize that Alaska is part of the United States, so why would you expect them to think Hawaii is? We get tourists all the time who ask if they can use American money here!
