FMLA - Intermittent leave

I have been looking for guidance in the regs regarding whether I can change/modify the duties of an employee on FMLA intermittent leave. The duties deal with time senstive duties/responsibilities. Has anyone dealt with this or do you know where I can look for the answer?

Yes, you can change the duties of someone on intermittent leave and even move them to a different position if necessary as long as the benefits and wages do not change.

Section 825.204 of the new FMLA regulations addresses transferring an employee to an alternative position during intermittent or reduced schedule leave.
