Posting information on the Web

I've noticed that when anyone offers to fax a form to one person, 40 or more others ask to receive a fax too (I'm guilty of it too). Is there a way that the document can be forwarded to HR Hero, to be posted for everyone to see and possibly download? It would save the person who offered to send the fax a lot of headaches.

Absolutely possible. We'll even take edited versions, if the post-er wants to make the document a bit more anonymous.

I guess the easiest way to accomplish this is to email the document to [email]webeditor@mleesmith.com[/email], along with some information (like the subject) to identify which thread it relates to.

This was sort of my original notion of what HR Documents 911 would be all about - a way to create a library of helpful forms and documents.

I'm pleased you can do this, but a little surprised. There was a similar question posted on the SHRM HR Talk board and their response was "no" because then they would have legal liability for documents posted there even though it's not their material. Would HRHero not run into that same dilemma?

Posting it on a web page isn't very different from letting you post it in a Forum message. As long as it's not someone's copyrighted work, I don't see a problem.
