Do not make coffee by pouring tepid water directly over the grounds in the basket and waiting for the heating element to warm the resulting semi-coffee-like concoction.
I realize I'm late for this one, but, don't ever pour liquid concentrated crab boil on to a very hot cast iron skillet. It took (literally) days to clear out the acid air.
DO NOT spend $2,000 to have a few lousy rooms painted only to have your wife leave eggs boiling on the stove, which was not realized until she got to work, got coffee, and saw another co-worker eating a hard-boiled egg. This happened ONE month ago.
