Hamburger Cabbage Casserole

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
1/2 cup cooked instant rice
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup
1/4 cup water
4 cups coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage
Instructions:
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Cook beef and onion in 10- inch skillet over medium heat until beef is brown; drain if needed. Stir in rice, pepper, soup and water. Place coleslaw mix in ungreased 2-quart casserole. Spoon beef mixture over coleslaw mix. Cover and bake about 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
P.S. I add shredded cheddar cheese to the top of mine before covering and baking.
