If so, I have finally satisfied my curiosity of "who on earth voted for that Bush twice" because every single person I meet denies EVER voting for "that republican"!
Personally I am ready for a change in this USA that is literally going to the shredder.

I readily acknowledge that I voted for GWB twice and would vote for him again compared to the current lousy crop of candidates. Can you imagine what our country and our world would have been like had Al Gore been in charge after 9-11? As bad as our economy is now, imagine if John Kerry would have been able to impose his tax increases and other antibusiness agenda.
Yes, Pres. Bush could have done a better job, especially his trying to always appease the Demos which has gotten us where we are today. But he was still the better choice in each of the last two elections.
That oughta get it rolling!!!!

My husband and I both voted for George W. twice. Every president we have had has made mistakes, so why should this president be crucified when others weren't?

I agree Jim. I think the biggest disappointment with Bush and his downfall has been the war. I was opposed to it from the beginning, my fear was it could become another VietNam, which appears to be the case. As far as his other positions, Bush has done much that was good, but unfortunately, he'll be remembered as a failure due to the Iraq War.
