I refuse to open the Thread That Won't Die. I am organizing a boycott. Very simple, all you have to do is ignore that thread and not open it. Let Steaks and Frank have their fun over there.

Every time I hear some femme fatale say that "us girls have to stick together and vote for Hil", I cringe. How many of them can there be?

I was just reading this morning that Obama will send more troops to Afghanistan because he doesn't think the Afghanis are doing enough to root out the terrorists. Huh? He and the others throw rocks at Bush for invading Iraq but he will invade an ally? Musharraf has been under pressure by some of the more radical elements in his country for being too closely tied to the US. Now Obama wants to push him over the edge.

I plead complete innocence. I have also boycotted and refused to open the old thread and I'm hurt to think Ray associates me with that socialistic behavior. The last one I read on there was Paul wanting to try for 1,500, and I refuse to participate!!!
On the current subject, how do you think Hil and Obama are going to handle the Iraq war being won? They've said about as much bad about the war and our warfighters, and have done everything they can to ensure defeat. How will they spin it to take credit for a victory???

The Dems do not want us to win this war. If the war is resolved before the next election, they lose. They hope and pray for the status quo so they can claim to come in on the white horses wearing the white hats and take credit for turning it around within 1 month of taking office. Why do you think this democratic congress is doing nothing? They don't dare do anything. Hillary would have Pelosi's hide if she did any more than she is doing.

It's also funny how much press Hil's cleavage received. It was a stunner for the media but as hard as she tried it didn't change her cold persona. And here's another question: how do the democrats keep saying they speak for the American people yet have the absolute lowest ratings of any Congress? I believe eyes are starting to open.

Do you think the cleavage thing was a conscious effort on Hil and her handlers to overcome the cold persona perception? I suspect she knew exactly the kind of reaction she would get and did it intentionally.

Back in the Frontier Days, when we traveled by covered wagon, there were men going from town to town selling all kinds of goods. One type of merchandise in particular was a special elixir that cured everything.

The Dems are passing this potion around as the concoction of the century. Back then we called them snake oil salesmen. Sounds like that's what we got today too.

Well the #1 snake oil elixer of the 19th century was Swamp Root, made in right here in Binghamton, NY. Good stuff, so I've read. 90% alcohol.

We could always form a support group. Whenever anyone gets the urge to open that thread, just pm the support group instead.

Ray, I agree the cleavage was intentional and they've juggled a lot of media miles out of it.
It's kind of sad that we have to dig deep into news stories to finally get the real news.

Good question Steaks. Hmmmm. I don't remember so I guess it wasn't that important. I remember one of the posters was Frank, but I can't remember who else was involved. Obviously it wasn't that interesting (plus I'm over 50 and my brain works less and less as the day goes on).
