Could someone explain to me how LSU can be rated 4th in the country with a measly 1-0 record?? Other than the sympathy factor, it makes no sense whatsover. The polls are a political as ever.

The same way that UT can be rated number 10 with a 1-1 record. I hope LSU stomps a mudhole of hurricane proportions in UT's ass tonight.

Exactly. LSU is #4 until someone proves differently. That's what happens when the rankings appear before so much as one down is played.

Plus, LSU has played well last year and the years right before. It was not outrageous to rank them high. They were ranked high before Katrina. Sorry VPHR, don't think there is any sympathy factor going on. They just are a good team.

That would be USC, the one in Southern California. Still #1.
