Have any of you watched Rachel Ray's 30 Minute Meals on the Food Channel? If so, have you tried any of her recipes?
I have never been a good cook, and so limit my time in the kitchen to a few specific dishes or things that are too easy to mess up. But a few months ago I caught an episode of this show and have been watching it almost daily since.
Rachel is actually teaching me to cook! She keeps things so simple, and explains why she is doing everything she does. I now also watch Alton Brown in Good Eats which immediately follows 30MM. Between them I have learned a great deal and have even begun experimenting on my own. So far I am still coming up a little short, but I learn something every time I try and so am motivated to keep trying. I might even have the nerve to try some of Don's recipes soon. x:7
The meals can also be adjusted for vegetarians, which I know at least one of you will appreciate.
Have any of you tried her recipes? Which ones did you try and like?

Rachel Ray's kitchen is made to look really old, maybe early 50s. Notice the starburst clock on the wall beside the refrigerator. We have that exact clock from the early 50s.
I recently made a 30MM cole slaw recipe with sweet pickle relish in it, and it was great.
But in case that was a real question x:-/, 30MM was the original poster's abbreviation for Rachel's show, 30-Minute Meals.
If you have digital cable in your area, check out some of the on-demand cooking shows....you can pause them, rewind....and replay if you want to make the dish again..
