Favorite Joke during the Emmys

O.K. Every year the host and all the stars all try to say something clever and witty; try to come up with the best one and two liners. I didn't watch the whole show but I still have a favorite. When George Lopez chided Donald Trump about not having any Latinos on his show "the Apprentice" and then alluded to how they are a protected class and couldn't be fired if they were on the show.

Any HR person had to appreciate that joke! I thought it was hysterical anyway.x:7

N.G., I think the lack of replies is indicative of the "Yawner" the Emmys' has turned into. I found more entertaining things on TV to watch, like the Miami-Cinncinati game.

I usually watch the Emmys, but last night I was finishing off Day 3 of the Austin City Limits Music Festival. So thanks for passing along the best joke!

The ACL fest was physically brutal -- 75,000 people and 100+ degree heat index -- but also BIG fun.

I will check all my sources and get back to you on the first week of October but, hey, something's always going on here. Come on down, call me, and we'll find at least five bands you want to see, ten restaurants you want to try, and - with any luck - there'll be a Leslie sighting.
