The Sesame Street Bus

After reading about "The Ugly Bus" earlier today, I thought I would share this story with you tonight.
When I was very young I rode a bus to school that had the Sesame Street characters painted on the side. It wasn't just any plain old yellow school bus, it had my favorite characters on it, Big Bird, The Cookie Monster, The Grouch.
I was one of the first kids on the bus. After I got on the bus, there were two very quick stops. Patricia from down the block got on, she was very heavy. The next stop was to pick up Patty, another very chubby girl.
After a few more blocks, Ross got on the bus. We always knew that Ross was in special classes at school and he was a pretty quiet kid.
One of the final stops before we got to school was to pick up Lester. He was filthy, was always picking at his teeth and he smelled like onions.
I was always embarrassed about riding on this oddly-decorated bus, but most embarrasing was when we pulled up to school, we could hear the other kids chanting.
They were saying . . . "Here comes . . . "
(say it out loud)
"Two all beef patties
