Today is National Astronomy Day. From the lack of posts today, it appears many on the forum are celebrating this well-known holiday. Unfortunately, my employer is cheap and doesn't recognize this as a holiday.

I'll recognize National Astronomy Day if you'll recognize St. Swithins' Day. x;-)

OK, how about Defense Transportation Day coming up next week? Or, better yet... Pickle Day on May 25th.

I was trying to hold out for an intellectually challenging thread. But, alas.

Today is actually "National Receptionist Day" so if you have one at your company, give him/her a flower or box of chocolates.

I would but I think such familiar behavior might be misconstrued and consequently inappropriate in a professional office environment. x;-)
