My dearest Frank Wako: I thought it was a secret just between us. Our clandestine encounter must have been so intoxicating that you wanted all of mankind to know of your good fortune and the honor that was bestowed upon you. Later Dude.
Well gee with as much moanin' and groanin' on here about the new format it sounds to me like you just got too dang much time on your hands! Get over it and think about important stuff. like THE WEEKEND!
Can't they make this thing go any more slowly? I'm losing valuable time by falling asleep between screen changes! BTW the blue bar still obliterates about 1/3 of my screen.
It's still not fixed. At least not for me. Every time I reply to a post, I have to "reload". Why? Also, when responding to a private email, there is no "reply" to click - or I'm not seeing it. Consequently, I have to go back out to the Forum, find a post from that person and click on their private mail box to reply to them. And I agree that a "next post" would be nice rather than scrolling, sometime waaaaaaaay down to pick up the next thread.
Look folks - as much as I appreciate all of your opinions - I have to say I'm a little dumb founded by your remarks to other members of the forum to quit complaining/whining about the changes.
I'm dumb founded because I don't particularly think the subject line for this thread was particularly confusing or misleading. "The Format Is Horrible" - what part of this text confused/mislead the rest of you into thinking that the posts were going to be "warm fuzzies" regarding the changes? Are you also confused by signs that say "Wet Paint", "Stop", "Slippery When Wet" and "Machine Washable"? You must be.
You're all entitled to your opinions - but I have to say I think you're diluting this thread with your 'outcries' to the rest of us about our 'complaining/whining'. Start your own thread - let the subject line read - what a bunch of babies - etc. I won't read it or comment on it - because I think those of us that do have issues with the changes have the right to say so. By the way - you can even start with me if you like in your new thread - my screen name is Mwild31.
Bottom line - I stick with my post from last night & I still think this crappy brown text color stinks.
This is a good example of how a little advance communication can sometimes prevent a general outcry when changes are made with no warning.
I have no problem with anyone who is willing to take the time to note problems with the new format. They are being part of the solution.
Let's just try to remember that there are real people at the other end of this forum who work hard to make it the nice place it is. They do a great job and we should cut them a little slack as they fine tune the format changes.
Paul; who appointed you den leader? Look people, really, can we just love each other and get along and count seashells and not have job titles. Gimme a break!
Judy, the most important thing you can do is figure out how to get out of your house with the lights off. x:-).
No, No; I have pictures of Rita! I want copies of the assualt papers his wife files against Rita when she arrives. Do you forget the woman is from Joizey.
Oh, it finally showed up. Now I see it. Well, now that the format change has affected me PERSONALLY I also agree with all those who have demanded the person responsible be tickled mercilessly and forced to endure repeated viewings of "Gigli".
Looks like I picked a good week to be super busy. Didn't have much time to do any "forum foraging" until this morning, and everything seems to be working fine for me!
Yesterday I posted a serious question over on 'how to use the forum' about the rumors involving this subject. There's been no meaningful reply to the question at all. What's up?
I noticed that earlier this am, Don. The lawyer who said he responded to all MS legal questions, I've never seen on the forum before. Has he every replied to you privately?
[font color="purple"]The new format isn't that bad, but then again I wasn't here for the brunt of it. Why are there posts missing from this? Who upset the forum police? The only complaint I have, and maybe it's just me, is that it takes a lot longer to load the page now with the graphics at top, and when I go to post a reply to a message, the blue bar overlaps with the message box.
It just took me 2 minutes to download this thread when before it took seconds. This is not progress. Sometimes it takes so long to download, I give up and go elsewhere. Maybe our bosses are behind this to get us back to work.
I thought it was just me, or heavy traffic on the web, or on our own fractal T-1. Do you think the new format has slowed down the page loading? If so, that would be another glitch to fix - please.

HS: Welcome back. You said the new format isn't that bad; but, then you went on to pretty much sum up about a third of the problem. It takes ages to load with all that graphic stuff. The blue bar still encroaches, and the font size and color changes randomly. I don't think anybody upset the police. Maybe they've just gotten like the police back in the 50s and 60s. (I've heard) they just didn't want to be challenged or asked questions.
I have to agree with the posts about how slow this has become. It took 3 minutes to load this thread, and we have DSL! If I were at home, my carrier would have kicked me off by then. If we don't like the woman at the top, we don't have to look at her, but visiting the Forum should never take this long
I thought it was my computer - it takes forever to bring a thread up. And I still have to "reload" to bring up new posts and to post. Maybe it will all be better next week.

Well, except Ritaanz's picture bringing back a flood of extremely distracting memories.

Woco; send copies.

I tried to post a smart aleck response about being nominated den leader while you were gone to New Orleans but it won't show up.
Either the new format is acting up or I am being censored again.
