SHRM replain this test stuff

I am thinking of joining the SHRM. Is this the same thing that you guys are talking about testing for? Advise this dummy.

    SHRM would be the association that you would be joining. HRCI does the certification testing and is, as I understand it, an independent arm of SHRM. However, SHRM provides the study material for the HRCI testing, but claim that they don't teach to the test. Once you take the test, you'll see that they are right.
