• Technically Ray, it is...but only because of where Liberty Island is located.

and Don, you're right! I can't believe I left Ritaanz off the list. Send me back to my cell with no lunch...
• Actually it is, because the is what the US Supreme Court ruled.
• Didn't know that...was there a reasoning behind it?
• So, Ice-T, Robert Blake and The Statue of Liberty are from New Jersey? Go back and cross through those 3 and substitute 'Ritaanz is From New Jersey' and you'll have somethin' ta' brag about! x:-)
• As a New Yorker I must add:
It was recently reported that NJ is almost out of land to built housing.
If NJ has such great beach resorts, why is the governor currently in Puerto Rico.

• LAST EDITED ON 07-22-03 AT 04:06PM (CST)[p]I agree with Ray and Whatever. If Jersey has such great vacation spots, why is that the NY state thru way is backed up with New Jersey plates trying to get to Lake George and the Saratoga race track. They all come thru Albany and back up the traffic every weekend during the summer.

I'm not trying to pick on NJ because I have friends and family there. I used to recruit for my old company for the entire NE region and spent one week a month in NJ as a result. The traffic was horrible, like nothing I have ever seen!!!! I am really only busting your chops HS!
• Hey, didn't say I vacationed here...not many good spots left. The shore is way too crowded. About the only place you can get peace and quiet is the far north western part of the state...get out your camping gear folks!

On a side note, I find it extremely hilarious that for a state of our size that we have more area codes than say a bigger state like Maine!
• Wow! I wonder why I left? Haven't had a drop of rain in months, the lowest the temp has been in July was 109, the monsoons have started but for me its wind, dust, lightening and thunder, they are starting to talk about drought, the lakes are drying up and forest fires are rampant. That's AZ for 4 months of the year. The other 8 months are the reason so many of us move here.

Yeah, NJ is a great state and it's where I got my Jersey girl attitude. Ya can't beat that!
x;-)
Don what do I owe you for the honorable mention?
