I think desperate times call for desperate measures!
In order to persuade Don D. not to go off line even for a short period of time, we need to have the first ever Don-a-thon. (Check the posting entitled "I've turned in my notice" by Don D. to get up to speed.)
Don D.,
If we get 25 people to enable their profiles (We know how much you love those!), we think you should pledge not to miss a day even in your job transition. What do you say?

Forget this "welcome back" stuff. I say, "It's about damn time (A southernism I'm sure you will appreciate!) The Forum was beginning to lose it's edge. Pretty soon we were going to be joining hands and singing Kumbaya! Thank goodness you're back. We were seriously lacking a curmudgeon viewpoint.
Just to catch you up on what you missed while you were gone:
Christy has had three more children.
Paul has done a magazine photo shoot for Leggs Pantyhose (Joe Namath is green with envy!)
ParaBeagle has been upgraded to a ParaPitbull.
Ritaanz has left HR in order to pursue her life long dream of becoming an exotic dancer. (She has excellent people skills that she's final going to be able to cash in on!)
Doesn't pay to leave for long. You miss all the good stuff!

than time. I've not visited since who knows when
and see that you've been gone. Well, glad you're
back?! Good luck with the new job, always scary
and intimidating. IS that spelled right? I've
livedin Utah too long. No one here can spell.
And it proves there are not only rednecks
everywhere, but poor white trash is rampant
across America and in full control of Fox Network.
