Profit Sharing Plan

I am working on an employee handbook for a small employer. I am not very familiar with Profit Sharing Plans. Does anyone have a policy or handbook "write up" on a Profit Sharing Plan that I could use as a guide? Obviously, I will be referring to the summary plan description, but I need to summarize the basic ideas of such a program.
