Does anyone know where I can find a sample "Reference Check" Policy or Policies?

Hi loriana,

Check on the HRhero.com policies page where other forum members have shared sample policies: [url]http://www.hrhero.com/policies/policyindex.shtml[/url] . The Policies & Procedures Handbook, Sample 1 has a sample policy under "Employment References."

In addition, we did two past issues of HR Hero Line (HRhero.com's free e-mail newsletter) on reference checking. You might pick up some ideas from reading the feature articles from those newsletters. Here are links to both issues:
