Exempt employee paid holidays

Good morning!

Our company is closed the day of and the day after Thanksgiving. For our non-exempt employees if they have accrued vacation time they can use this to get paid for Friday. Do we have to pay our exempt employees or can they fall under the same stipulation as our non-exempt with using PTO time?
