2006 Wage Increase Percentages

In seriousness to your post, we usually don't have a clue until the final year end numbers are completed in Jan. April is normally our month for awarding increases.

We budgeted 2% for January 1st implementation. We are hoping to get to 4% if the funds are avaible. Tight budget year for this non-profit.

We're a local government. Employees will get 4% this year on their anniversary date.

We are a locally owned, independent and (so far) not for sale community bank and have just completed our annual evaluations and wage increases. Our middle management and support staff averaged 2.5% to 3%. Our Board of Directores sets our officer's increases and for some reason they came in closer to 4% this year. They normally run 'bout the same in both areas.

Our fiscal year ends June 30 and July 1 our employees will get a 3% raise. A few will get 2% and a few others will get 4%.

I just completed a wage and benefit survey that included 33 employers in our four-county area. The average increase given over the last year was 2.6%.

I do our wage package and related survey each July for September 1 implementation. The typical range is 2.5 to 3.5. I can't anticipate the outcome but assume it will be about 3.25 this year. But, we do reviews every 90 days until somebody tops out, and this equates to more than 3.5.
