Info on percentage of wages vs. total payroll

Does anyone have information on the typical percentage of wages as compared to total payroll that is allocated to each division in an organization. Or do you know of a resource that discusses this topic?

    I'm not sure I understand the question. As I understood you, you are asking, for example, what percentage of the total payroll of a company is comprised of the maintenance budget, or the accounting department budget. If I'm correct, there's no way to boil that down to anything meaningful across the board. If I misunderstand you, please clarify.
