Mandatory Direct Deposit

My company is moving towards paper less checks and mandatory direct deposit. Everything I am finding on the internet for Wisconsin employers states that we cannot make it mandatory, but there are many companies in my area that have made is mandatory for all employees. Do you know where find the correct answer or who I can ask for it?
