Vacation Policy

If we change our vacation policy from an accrual rate (vacation days earned in one year and eligible to use in the next year) to a # of days granted for use in that same year. What is our liability to those employees who earned vacation under the old policy in the year we switch?

I'm not sure, and I'm confident several Forumites will have an answer for you. If they already earned it, you'd probably have to bank it for them in addition to what would be granted under the new plan.
