IS A PART TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT WITH 2O HOURS PER WEEK AND A SALARY OF $240 PER WEEK IS EXEMPT OR NOT?

  • PROBABLY NOT, but then what does it matter except on thoses weeks where she may be required to work more than 40 hours. If the ee never goes over 20 hours she could be paid $105.00 a week and EXEMPT/NONEXEMPT still would not matter. There has got to be more to this issue and you are revealing in this post!!!

    Remember, it is NOT hours and money PAID that identifys an exempt employee. It is duties, accountability, and responsibilities for decision making that determine EXEMPT/NON-ESEMPT STATUS>>. Pork
