Non-Exempt Bonus

We have offered a sign on bonus for postions that we have a hard time filling and are now getting ready to pay the bonuses. Do these have to go through payroll and also be computed into overtime calculations?

This is considered taxable income and is run through payroll. It is not considered in overtime as it is not for hours worked. In fact, some companies, will give this as a separate check.
