health insurance coverage

How many of you pay 100% of the individual's health insurance coverage? If the individual pays a percentage, what percentage is that? I especially would be interested in hearing from any of you with a not-for-profit organization.
Thanks!

  • We are non-profit and pay 100% of employee premium. It's on them for any dependent coverage premiums.

We also pay life insurance at 2 X salary with a $70,K cap. This policy includeds EAP and Accidental Death and Dismemberment. The EE can also choose dental, vision, AFLAC products, etc. on their own dime - but run through the pre-tax cafeteria plan.

Good vacation, sick leave, holiday and personal day policies along with our mediocre pay.
  • Also a non-profit. Pay 100% for employee health, dental, vision life short& long term disability,EAP and life insurance, 6.5% TO 401K. Dependents 100% employee costs.
  • The January HRHero.com survey was on benefits -- including health insurance coverage. 315 people who said they were with non-profits participated in the survey.

You can see the survey results (including a question about how much of the premium an organization pays for individual coverage and another question about family coverage) at www.hrhero.com/lc/survey/archive.shtml.

If you read the instructions about filtering the results, it will explain how you can see just the results from the participants who said they were with non-profits.

You can see all the HRhero.com surveys by going to the login area of HRhero.com and clicking on HR Hero Survey Results in the yellow box on the right-hand side of the page under the Your Resources header.

    I hope that helps.
