Vacation accrual during leave time

Is anyone aware of any laws that say employers must continue to accrue vacation while an associate if off due to workers' comp or FMLA leave? I have checked my reference manuals both federal and state (Ohio)and it appears that it depends on company policy. Just wanted to double check. Thanks.

What if an employee has a lot of saved vacation time and uses it over a long period of time taking only say 2 days a week.
Would they accrue vacation for the entire period?
