What's your vacation Policy?

Hello All,
We are looking to enhance our vacation policy to reward people for seniority and improve retention. Our current vacation policy is:
Start date- 1 year= 7.5 days per year
2-5 years=10 days per year
6-10 years = 15 days per year
11+ years= 20 days per year

We also allow 3 sick days per anniversary year. What's your sick time like as well?

    25+ Years = 25 days

    We allow 5 sick days per year.

    Beginning with the 5th year of service, additional vacation time will be added according to the following schedule:

    5th Anniversary Date:8 Additional Vacation Hours
    6th Anniversary Date:8 Additional Vacation Hours
    7th Anniversary Date:8 Additional Vacation Hours
    8th Anniversary Date:8 Additional Vacation Hours
    10th Anniversary Date:8 Additional Vacation Hours
    11th Anniversary Date:8 Additional Vacation Hours
    12th Anniversary Date:8 Additional Vacation Hours
    13th Anniversary Date:8 Additional Vacation Hours

    We also allow EEs to earn 3 extra vacation hours a month for perfect attendance and if they have 12 months perfect attendance an additional 4 hours for a total of 40 "Earned" vacation.

  • We are similar to Popeye, but we start with 2 weeks and that is it til 5 years. Add one day per year for 5 thru 9. 10 thru 15 is 120 hours. At 16 add another day til 19 years, it then stays at 160 hours annual accrual til you leave. At 400 hours plus your current year accural, you are capped. All is paid out when you leave.

    Sick leave is 80.6 hours per year. EE have the opportunity twice a year to cash some of that in.


  • Here's our policy:

    • During the 1st calendar year of employment - 10 days

    • During the 2nd calendar year of employment
    and up to the completion of the 4th calendar year of employment - 15 days

    • Starting with the 5th calendar year of
    employment - 20 days

  • Non-union:

    15 days your first year, with one additional day per year up to 20.

    Union:

    15 days your first year, with on additional day every three years up to 20.

    Everyone gets 10 sick days per year.

    5.6% - 2 weeks
    57.0% - 3 weeks
    36.2% - 4 weeks or more
    0.7% - None
