Does anyone have a form notice to send out to employees notifying them regarding changing your method of calculating FMLA?

Our FMLA policy is included in our ee handbooks. When we changed ours, we issued new handbooks.

There has to be a 60 day notice in advance of the change becoming effective. Did you just send out a memo that it would become effective within 60 days and then change it in handbook? I was not aware there was a 60-day notice that had to be given before you could change the policy, so we issued new policy for the handbook stating the new policy would begin on x date and had all employees sign that they received it. I am now advised that without the 60-day notice, the date of the new one is moot.

Our memo stated the FMLA policy was changing, effective 60 days from the issue date of the handbook.

Ditto to Joannie. Also, in the past we have just attached a brief statement to paychecks stating what the change is.
