FMLA - part time job

I have a male police officer who plans to take FMLA leave for the birth of his child. Can he work a part time job for a different employee while he is on FMLA leave from this job? He will be paid his full salary because he will use sick/vacation time. Thanks.

Yes. FMLA does not stop someone from working another job. If you do not have an internal policy about it, I think he can do it.
