schedule change for FMLA

[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 03-10-06 AT 10:05AM (CST)[/font][br][br]An employee is on FMLA for the serious health condition of her spouse. She would like to return to work on a reduced schedule. Her normal shift is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. M--F. She would like to change her hours from noon to 6:00 p.m. M--F. Would I count the two hours that she is short of an eight-hour shift as FMLA? I'm not quite sure how to assign this.

Edit: Let me go one step further with this situation. If we cannot accommodate her working past 3:30 is that a problem? I wouldn't think we would have to find something for her to do beyond her normal working schedule. Thanks.
