Back Pay of Insurance Premiums

My ee went on WC in 5/03. WC closed his case in 2/04. He did not return to work, so I termed him. He now owes me $920 for back insurance premiums that the company paid for him while he was on leave.

Is there any thing I can do to retrieve these premiums? In his term letter I gave him a breakdown of the bill. Of course I have not heard from him.

Small claims court is an avenue. You can get judgements from them, but turning them into cash can be difficult.
