Serious Health Condition - Dental Treatment

LAST EDITED ON 03-23-04 AT 09:19AM (CST)[br][br]I have an employee who will be receiving treatment by a dentist for a gum type of problem. He goes to the dentist, misses part of the day at work, but the treatment will be more than 3 days. i.e. more than 3 separate appointments, but he does not miss a full day. Is this considered a regimen of continuing treatment and thus FMLA covered even though he does not miss 3 full days from work?

I don't suppose the employee has considered using vacation time for this?
