IT'S NOT THREE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FMLA absnece plus treatment rule is MORE than three days, which= 4 days. It is not three days. I've posted that over and over for the last two years and it drives me crazy that such a simple rule is not understood.

Here it is: ¨ Absence of more than three consecutive calendar days that also involves continuing treatment by a health care provider.

This is not intended to hurt anyone's feelings. This is just intended to stop the madness. Thank you for listening, I will go back to my padded room.

Before you return to your room, let me correct you. It does not have to be 4 days, as you screamed. It can be 3.5 days. More than three days does not necessarily equate to four days. It can also be an overnite stay at the hospital and missing only one day, or less. Your hall monitor found the padding stuffed under the sheets and is looking for you. x:-)

I was referring to the absence plus treatment rule which does stipulate more than three days. Inpatient hospital stays and chronic conditions do not fall under that rule. But, you are correct, it could be 3.5 days or 3.1 days, BUT NOT 3 DAYS! Thanks for clarifying. I'm off to my room.
