I have a employee at one of our regional offices that has applied for intermittent FMLA. The condition is chronic asthma for her children. Now, the problem, my superior does not want to grant the leave due to the small office staff. I fully believe she is entitled to the leave; however, if we have to fill the position at the smaller office, can we offer her a position at our main campus? This would require her to travel about 30 miles.
